Hardscapes 3D is determined to make outdoor spaces more interesting with 3D concrete fabrication. We don’t like to be constrained by inside-the-box thinking, which is why none of our products are made with forms!
Our goal is simple: to make digital designs concrete (literally).
Our journey started with a mission to develop affordable, high-performance materials for the emerging field of construction 3D printing. Testing hundreds of formulas required printing many small parts. Not wanting to produce waste, we designed a series of parts that could function as planters, trash cans, and columns post-testing. It wasn’t long before we saw the potential to bring total customization to everyday outdoor spaces.

Meet the Team
Dan Vennerberg
With over 10 years of product development experience and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Dan provides not only additive manufacturing expertise, but also a professional perspective on this emerging construction technology.
He has published work on anisotropic materials, including those that are 3D printed, and will talk for hours about structure-property-processing relationships if you let him. Since printing his first polymer part on a kit desktop printer, Dan has never grown tired of watching a digital part come into physical form one layer at a time.
